HOW TO WIN
THE TIMES TABLE CHALLENGE

1. Play

Customise your sessions with a choice of times tables, difficulty level and number of players. Then compete in as many 10 minute sessions as you can.

2. Have fun

Enjoy getting active and calling out times tables with the presenter. Solve the challenge questions correctly for a high score.

3. Improve

Master all the levels as you move up the global leaderboard. Earn extra points by competing at home and in the classroom.

Times Table Circuits provide targeted maths help for primary and secondary teachers and parents of 5-14 year olds (KS1, KS2 & KS3). They are ideal for anyone who wants to incorporate learning with physical and mental wellbeing, and would like a tool for being able to teach active, fun times tables lessons.

No, Numberfit believes that ALL children should be able to access resources to help them grasp this key skill, therefore Times Table Circuits are available completely FREE for the duration of the global challenge. After this, you will keep beginner-level sessions, if you would like to help your learners master times tables with more resources you can upgrade your subscription here.

You will get free access to the beginner, intermediate and advanced competition sessions for the 2-12x table. These are each comprised of physically active videos to follow as well as on-screen times table questions to answer.
Yes! Times Table Circuits have been tested at home and in the smallest of classrooms. All movement is on the spot so no furniture needs re-arranging. They are an ideal classroom active learning resource.
No, simply a device to display the times tables sessions e.g. a smartboard, laptop or phone.
Each Times Table session is approximately 10 minutes long. This includes 5 minutes of physically active videos, 4 minutes of challenge questions and 1 minute of mindfulness.
As often as you like, but if you want to win the global challenge then try to do as many as you can and make sure to do at least 1 per day to keep up your streak bonus points.
Yes, we provide 3 difficulty levels for the sessions for you to choose from:
  • Beginner – for learners who are new to a times table, had a slow pace and all questions in order
  • Intermediate – for learners who are familiar with a times table, has a fairly quick pace and questions in random order.
  • Advanced – for learners who have mastered a times table, answers are required immediately and division questions are included.
Sessions will become available once the competition starts. As there is no preparation needed you can simply press play when you are ready to compete with your learners.
Yes, we will be announcing a times table challenge winner from the students who played individually at home as well as the winning class.

The multiplication tables check is a mandatory exam that students in English schools must take in year 4 (8-9 year olds). The aim is to determine whether students can fluently recall their times tables up to 12.


It is an on-screen test consisting of 25 times table questions where students get 6 seconds to answer each question.
